Konafa with Nutella – كنافة بالنوتيلا

Total Preparation Time:

  • 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Konafa dough (250 grams for 5~6 people)
  • Frying oil
  • Nutella
  • 1 spoon water

Method:

  1. Separate the dough to make it loose. If it is so thick, and hard, then add a spoon of water to make it softer and easy to form.
  2. Using a cookies cutter over a big spoon (or a cooking spoon), fill in some konafa dough inside and push it hardly. Do not put a lot of dough, just enough to make a thin layer.
  3. Heat some oil in a pan. (enough to cover the konafa in the cutter)
  4. Place the spoon with the cookies cutter in the oil until it becomes golden in color.
  5. Repeat the first 3 steps until you have an even number of golden konafa.
  6. Fill in each two with nutella to create a sandwich-like form
  7. You can decorate the top of the Konafa with more nutella, wipped creme and/or nuts.
